2021 CIVL Plenary 

The 2021 CIVL Plenary will be held online, using Zoom platforms from February 1 to 7, 2021. Secret voting will be secured by using the electionrunner platform.

Experience shows that online discussion when many people are participating can be confusing, frustrating, not very efficient. This is why all issues, including proposals and bids, will be published and discussed beforehand in dedicated Basecamp platforms for the CIVL Delegates. Our plenary will be successful if we anticipate and work throughout December and January.


All Zoom session will take part from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Lausanne time.

Back-up sessions may be programmed as needed from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Delegates in faraway time zone are welcome to comment on our time choices.

The programme may be adjusted. It will be finalised on Monday, January 25.

If a Delegate or their Alternate of a Member cannot attend a meeting, the Member may give a proxy to another Delegate. (BL 3.3.2)

Proxies must be:

•    given in writing to the FAI Head Office before the meeting. (Statutes
•    acknowledged by the Member accepting them (Statutes
•    signed by the President or Secretary General of the FAI Member concerned (BL 3.3.2)

A Member can have only one proxy at any one time (Statutes 1.12.4)
Proxies are not valid when voting for FAI Awards (Statutes
Commission Presidents may not carry proxies (By-Laws 3.3.2)

If you wish to use a proxy, a copy of the notification has to be sent in advance to the FAI HO (email: / fax : +41 21 345 10 77) by the Member issuing the proxy.
Such a proxy delegation of voting rights shall require prior acknowledgement by the NAC accepting the proxy.
